ATCs and The Devil

Recently I joined a group devoted to making and trading artist trading cards. I've joined a swap -- my first! -- where the idea is to make our ... interpretation ... of The Hanged Man, Death, Temperance, The Devil and The Tower.

Here's my take on the The Devil:



The picture of the actress is from an old movie called Satan ... such beautiful costumes!

The card is a work in progress, but I'm happy with it so far, especially since I'm brand new to making ATCs! :-)

Christmas Twilight

Yesterday, in celebration of a friend's birthday, we had cake and munchies and watched Twilight the movie. Fun!

I took the opportunity to show the gals some of my new plushies and realized that I haven't posted here in quite a while. * slaps hand * Bad doll maker. Here are a few pics. :-)

First Post!

Hi! Well, I've been meaning to start a blog for a long time so here goes. This is my latest softie. I've wanted to work with faux fur for a long time and then inspiration hit the other day. I love his furry toes!

I've posted some of my most recent softies on my (brand new!) flickr account. I'm finishing up my second Troll today, hopefully I'll be able to post a picture of him tonight. :)
